Tenderers are selected by British Energy dependent on the nature and suitability of the contract. Potential new suppliers should note we look for evidence of:
- an excellent track record of safety
- ISO 9001 accreditation as a minimum
- environmental management
- financial stability (generally through the provision of a set of annual accounts)
- past performance and capability
- corporate history
